I'm not dead! ... yet

Well its been a while since my last post. Mainly due to the fact that I was not happy with any of the shots that I did last term and didn't feel like posting them up. But I'm back! Am not in Intro to Acting class! Woop woop! The first shot assignment was to create a pantomime shot that showed 2 distinct emotions. I chose to go down the "excitement / dissapointment" route, and thought that (at the time of planning the shot) due to the Football World Cup being on why not have an homage to sports. There is still a bit to be done on the shot as I have been busy with work most of this (last) week, but nevertheless, here it is and I will be happy to get any points, ideas or critiques to be able to further improve on the shot.

So this is the last week requiring work on an assiangment for this term. Term 3 starts in a week so its time to get refreshed and revitalised for another awesome term at Animation Mentor. Here is the (almost) final version of my Pick list 3 shot. Enjoy.

Class 2 Shot 2: thats a wrap!

Here is the second shot for this class finished, well mostly anyway. I may go back to tweak a couple of things in the future but for naw enjoy. Also, below is a sneak peak into what I will be working on for the next few weeks. Don't know why but i'm kinda excited to give this a bash! See you next month!

First Blog post of the New Year!

Happy New year to those who I have not wished it to who are reading this. I'm a month late but I guess that means that you have to only wait 11 months till I say it again! :). Annnnyyyhuuuuu... Here is a shot that I have progressivly been working on for 3 weeks at AnimationMentor.com. This is the final shot I gave in to be graded and probably won't be returning to fix anything else in the shot. Looking forward to this next shot as it is a bit more challenging and interesting to work on. It probably wont be uploaded for another few weeks so be patient!

End of Class 1

So thats it its the end of class 1 at animationmentor and its been a blast. To be honest I didnt spend nearly enough time on my coursework as I should of but all that will change in the next class. With a new year comes a new chapter in my life and I will be doing ALOT of animation. So here is my reel for class one and let the new class and new year roll on!

Another week another peak

So this is the end of week 7. The work and the critiques are piling up, becoming harder and am being graded harsher, but all is fair in love and animation! Here my submission for this weeks assignment. I would love to do a bit more to it and polish it better but at the moment time is not on my side (yet again!). As always this is the work I have submitted and has not been critiqued yet and so is still kinda sloppy. Also as always leave a note. I would say penny for your thoughts but I cant afford that :) SO anyway, enjoy and see you next Sunday (if anyone is actually reading this)

Forgive my absence!

Wow I havn't been on for a while and forgive me for that but I have been busy. Here is all the stuff I have done in the last few weeks. Now alot of it needs changes after the crits and I havent got round to doing it yet but hope to do so soon, so keep in mind these are all the first attempts!
